Prepare Windows for clean screenshots
Open Windows Settings
Click the Start menu and open Settings.
Hide the taskbar
Go to Personalization → Taskbar.
Turn on Automatically hide the taskbar.
Set your monitor to a 4:3 resolution
Go to System → Display → Display resolution.
Select the highest available 4:3 resolution your monitor supports
(examples: 1600Ă—1200, 1440Ă—1080, 1024Ă—768)
Increase display scaling
Still in System → Display, find Scale.
Set scaling to 200% to 250%.
Prepare the Windows application for capture
Launch the Windows application
Set the app to full screen
Use the application’s full screen option if available, or press Alt + Enter.
Navigate to the screen you want to capture
Ensure everything is fully loaded.
Close dropdowns, hover tooltips, or popups unless you want them captured.
Take the screenshots with Snipping Tool
Open Snipping Tool
Press the Windows key, type Snipping Tool, and open it.
Select Full-screen snip
In Snipping Tool, open the snip mode dropdown.
Choose Full-screen snip.
Capture
Click New.
Your full screen will be captured immediately.
Save as PNG
Click Save (disk icon).
Choose PNG as the format.
Save with a clear sequential name, for example:
ProjectName_Step01.png,ProjectName_Step02.png, etc.
Quick method (keyboard):
Press Print Screen (PrtScn) to capture the full screen. (If you are on a laptop, you may need Fn + PrtScn.)
On many Windows setups this will open the capture directly in Snipping Tool.
Save the image as PNG with a clear sequential filename.
Package and send to us
Collect all screenshots in one folder
Zip the folder
Right click the folder → Send to → Compressed (zipped) folder.
Send us the zipped file
Please send the zip with the original PNG files inside.
Avoid pasting screenshots into email or chat apps individually, as they often compress images.
Extra tips
Close anything that could overlap the application:
notifications
update popups
messaging apps
Wait a moment after opening a view so all UI elements load.
Avoid capturing during animations or transitions unless needed.
Use any available “clean UI” or “presentation mode” in the app.
Use the same resolution and scaling for the full screenshot set.
Capture in an order that matches your workflow.
