Adding Apps

• Head over to Apps -> Android apps and create a new app with the type Line-of-business app.

• Upload the apk file of the app.

• Change the Publisher to realworld one, the Targeted platform to Android (AOSP) and optionally upload a Logo:

• Optionally set Scope tags
• Assign the groups, individual users or devices on which the app should be installed.

• Under Device install status of your newly created app you can see the installation status of the app on the respective devices.

Updating Apps

• Select the app you would like to update.

• Go to Properties and click on Edit next to App information.

• Click on the file name next to Select file to update to upload a new apk.

• Select Review + save.

Installing Apps on Devices

Next to managing application access for devices directly, you can manage application access through Groups in Intune. You can use dynamic membership rules based on the enrollment profile. 

You can also add devices manually to Groups:

• Select the App you would like to install on devices.

• Head over to Properties and click on Edit next to Assignments.

• Modify the assignments as required.
