To fully set up your hardware, you need to complete two main steps:
- Make all relevant XR experiences available in your MDM.
- Enroll and configure the devices.
Step 1: Make XR Experiences Available in Your MDM
We recommend starting here, as access to XR experiences requires coordination with realworld one. This ensures that you can manage and deploy the apps correctly once the devices are enrolled.
Use the following guides for your respective MDM system:
- Meta Horizon Managed Services: Meta Quest All-in-One (AIO) MDM - Installation Guide
- ArborXR: ArborXR - Getting Started
- Intune: Intune - Managing Apps
Reach out to your realworld one contact or support@realworld-one.com to set up your MDM integration.
Step 2: Enroll Devices and Assign Apps
Once apps are available (or while setup is ongoing), you can enroll your headsets in the MDM and assign the experiences.
Use the following guides for your respective MDM system:
- Meta Horizon Managed Services: Meta Quest All-in-One (AIO) MDM - Installation Guide (Check Meta Horizon managed services Configuration Guide for our recommended Shared Mode configuration)
- ArborXR: ArborXR - Getting Started
- Intune: Intune - Meta Device Enrollment (Intune - Managing Apps to assign Apps to devices)
User Access Management
In addition to assigning the apps, each user’s realworld one account needs access rights for the XR experiences.
We recommend giving users access to all experiences by default and managing visibility through the MDM—installing only the needed apps per device.
To update access rights, contact support@realworld-one.com or submit a ticket.
